Abstract
A previously described matrix method was adapted for solving the kinetics o f reaction schemes. The method was used for simulation of the kinetics of a simplified acto-myosin ATPase cycle in muscle fibres: the simulated tensio n (= force) transients for pressure and temperature perturbations possess t he basic features observed in the actual experimental records.
