Mv. Ivanov et Ma. Khuda, Electroless nickel-boron-phosphorus deposits, the conditions of formation and features of structure, PROT MET R, 35(4), 1999, pp. 338-342
The deposition kinetics and the effect of various process parameters on the
solution stability and the composition of electroless Ni-B-P deposits (pro
duced with the simultaneous use of two reductants, i.e. hypophosphite and b
orane or dimethylamine borane) were studied. The features of the original a
lloy structure, as well as its phase transformations during the heating of
the deposits, are revealed. The bath's stability and the deposition rate (1
0 mu m/h) are shown to be sufficiently high while the improved morphologic
characteristics and enhanced thermal stability can be inherent in the origi
nal structure of the deposits.
