Abstract
The corrosivity of technological media in the continuous synthesis of benzy l magnesium chloride was studied. I insignificant damage to stainless steel s and nickel alloys was revealed in anhydrous reaction media. Transient sea l failures were shown to give rise to local corrosion (pitting) of chromium steels (unalloyed with nickel) in the initial synthesis media. Recommendat ions were granted pertaining the choice of materials for the implementation of the process.
