In the crystal of the title compound, bis(4-amino-kappa N-3-thioxo-kappa S- 6-methyl-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1,2,4-triazin-5-one)copper(I) chloride, [Cu(C4H 6N4O)(2)]Cl, the asymmetric unit contains one-half of the cation, with the other half related by a crystallographic twofold axis; the Cl and Cu atoms Lie on the twofold axis.
