Abstract
In the title compound, C28H24O3, the pyran ring adopts a half-chair conform ation. The dihedral angle between the pyran and the naphthalene ring system is 8.50(6)degrees. The phenyl rings are nearly orthogonal to each other an d they form dihedral. angles of 84.21(7) and 49.89(8)degrees with the pyran ring.
