Abstract
The crystal structure of the title compound, C38H56O16, is disordered above 298 K. A tripling of the unit cell is observed on cooling. The structure a t 136 K contains six ordered molecules related by pseudo-translation vector s of (1/3,0,-1/3), pseudo-inversion centers and pseudo-twofold screw axes.
