Some years ago at a BSP conference in Stratford-on-Avon, a few colleagues s at at lunch enjoying a lively conversation about Shakespeare and at her art istic and theatrical matters. There were two visitors from the USA at the t able. At the end one of them said 'This has been really refreshing for me. Do you know what the talk would usually be about at lunchtime at a conferen ce back in the States? Stocks, that's what. And I always keep thinking ther e's more to life than money.'
