Abstract
The on-line facilities for the study of plastic and crystal scintillators a nd light guides sensitivity to neutron, gamma and electron irradiations wer e set up at the neutron channel of the JINR IBR reactor and on 21 MeV elect ron beams of JINR and Czech Technical University microtron accelerators. Sc intillation properties, relaxation and electrophysical phenomena in plastic and crystal scintillators in the static and dynamic irradiation fields can be investigated on-line using light transparency method. Light spectral ra nge which can be analyzed simultaneously covers wavelengths 190 - 735 nm wi th the spectral resolution 5 nm,The method was successfully applied for the study of PbWO4 scintillators, The dose rates used were ranging from 2 to 5 5 rad/min.
