Abstract
Based on the analysis of existing means of encoding, storage and protection of information, it is argued that optical encoding has a great potential f or applications. The use of luminophors for the development of information encoding systems is discussed. An optical encoding system for access differ entiation is developed and recommendations for its use are given.
