Abstract
80Gbit/s (20Gbit/s x 4) optical time division multiplexing is demonstrated using an optical time division multiplexer based on a hybrid integrated pla nar lightwave circuit. Each channel signal is independently modulated by fo ur-wave mixing in semiconductor optical amplifiers without microwave crosst alk between channels.
