Abstract
Three immune-enzymatic tests for urinary HIV antibodies were examined in or der to assess their sensibility, specificity and delta value. The highest s ensibility was noticed for the Seradyn test (98.8%), followed by the Wellco zyme test (98.1%) and finally the SUDS rapid test (56.8%). The resultant sp ecificity was 98.5% for the Seradyn test, 91.3% for the Wellcozyme test and 97.3% for the SUDS test. The measurement of delta value showed a higher ca pability of discrimination for Seradyn test, that could be considered the m ost reliable for epidemiological purposes.
