Abstract
We review a series of interstrand resistance measurements performed on two
Rutherford-type cables made from unplated niobium-tin strands produced by A
lstom: a regular cable and a cable with a stainless steel core inserted bet
ween the two strand layers. The interstrand resistance measurements are int
erpreted in terms of crossover and adjacent resistances and are compared to
published data on similar cables.
