A software has been developed to calculate the viscosities of multicomponen
t oxide sings using a viscosity model. The software is linked to a viscosit
y database, which contains the model parameters and the experimental data,
along with their sources. The model parameters have been optimized based on
experimental data generated in the laboratory and found in the literature.
The model parameters enable the calculation of the viscosities of six-comp
onent Al2O3-CaO-FenO-MgO-MnO-SiO2 slags as well as its subsystems as functi
ons of temperature and composition.
