Abstract
The title complex Cu(C8H7O2N)(2)(OH2) crystallized in the orthorhombic spac e group, Pbca with unit cell parameters: a = 15.242(2), b = 11.782(4), c = 17.946(4) Angstrom, and Z = 8. Two nitrogen atoms, two phenolic oxygen atom s of the ligand, and one water molecule are coordinated with copper to form a distorted tetragonal pyramidal polyhedron.
