Abstract
In this case series, risperidone augmentation of treatment with a serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SRI) is described in four pediatric patients diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), An improved treatment response w as observed in all cases, albeit in different ways, All four of the patient s had failed prior SRI monotherapy. Comorbid ties were observed in two case s and aggressive behavior or violent images were seen in three. Possible pr edictors of response to risperidone in patients with OCD and future researc h avenues are explored.
