Effects of pressure on the magnetic structures of NdCo2Si2, which exhibits
three magnetic phases with a long period modulation, have been studied by s
ingle-crystal neutron diffraction using a clamp-type high-pressure cell. Th
e results are presented as a pressure-temperature magnetic phase diagram in
the range of pressure up to 2.25 GPa and of temperatures down to 10 K. Pre
ssure causes a linear increase of magnetic transition temperatures, and the
pressure coefficients are obtained, Neither new phase nor drastic change w
as found in the present pressure-temperature range. (C) 1999 Elsevier Scien
