Abstract
Outbreaks of congenital disproportionate dwarfism can occur in herds of cat tle having no history of this disorder. Feeding spoiled silage to pregnant beef cattle may affect fetal cartilage m aturation. Calves with congenital disproportionate dwarfism may require nursing care i nitially but ultimately can thrive.
