Abstract
This paper describes the status report of the AN-400 Van de Graaff acc elerator at Patiala. The experimental details of the accelerator as we ll as the research activities done using this accelerator are describe d. The need for revamping the accelerator, the future program of the a ccelerator laboratory and the need for its augumentation are highlight ed.
