The alloy system of Fe86-xCu1NbxB13 (x=4, 5) was subject to an investigatio
n of its soft magnetic properties.
The amorphous ribbons were annealed for 1 hour at different temperatures in
order to obtain samples in different crystallisation states including the
nanocrystalline state After that a phase analysis was done using room tempe
rature Mossbauer spectrometry. The sofi magnetic properties were studied us
ing the Mossbauer effect in radio frequency (rf) magnetic fields. We could
show that classical measurements, like those of the coercive force H-C corr
espond well to the results obtained by our rf Mossbauer measurements. (C) 1
