In the present studies, CdXZn(1-X)S nanoparticles have been prepared by che
mical capping method Optical absorption, X-ray diffraction and transmission
electron microscopy studies have been carried out. Size of the nano partic
les have been calculated from the XRD and optical absorption data. These st
udies indicate towards a kinetically controlled growth of nano particles. T
he growth of the Cd(X)ZP((1-X))S nano particles is also affected by the act
