Abstract
We analyze the degradation of the measured level of anisotropy and polariza tion of the Cosmic Microwave Background induced by irregularities of the cl ock which drives the radiometers used to carry on observations. Practical f ormulae are provided which can be used to evaluate the clock accuracy neces sary to limit the signal degradation to a preset value. (C) 1999 Elsevier S cience B.V. All rights reserved.
