Abstract
The mechanism of the reaction of the tri-n-butylstannyl anion with n-butyl bromide and iodide in THF was studied by the chemically induced dynamic nuc lear polarization (CIDNP) technique. Strong Sn-119 CIDNP spectra were obser ved for the first time. The emissive CIDNP phase of the tetra-n-butylstanna ne proves that radical intermediates are involved in the present reactions.
