Abstract
Chloromethylated polystyrene beads with different distributions have b een prepared and phosphinated. PdCl2 was supported on the phosphinated supports to give polymer-supported Pd complex catalysts with differen t active site distributions. The effect of active site distribution on catalytic activity was investigated in the hydrogenation of olefins.
