Abstract
Tinea pedis is uncommon in prepubescent children and therefore the diagnosi s may be difficult to make. We report tinea pedis in five children presenti ng as unilateral inflammatory lesions of the sole which was not readily dia gnosed. The pathogen in all of our cases was Trichophyton rubrum.
