Abstract
For electrons scattering on a bosonic mode we calculate within standard tra nsport theory the in-plane and out-of-plane resistivities rho(ab) and rho(c ) of a layered system. We show that, for dominant forward scattering on a q uasi-two-dimensional mode, rho(c)/rho(ab) increases (and may even diverge) with decreasing temperature. [S0163-1829(99)04029-1].
