Abstract
The current-phase relation (CPR) for asymmetric 45 degrees Josephson juncti ons between two d-wave superconductors has been predicted to exhibit an ano malous periodicity. We have used the single-junction interferometer to inve stigate the CPR for these kinds of junctions in YBa2Cu3O7-x thin films. A r emarkable amplitude of the ir-periodical component of the CPR has been expe rimentally found, providing an additional source of evidence for the d-wave symmetry of the pairing state of the cuprates.
