Abstract
Immobilization of biocatalysts on several inorganic monolithic support s has been studied. Transition metals added to TiO2, alpha-Al2O3 and a luminosilicate change the specific protein binding and support capacit y. It is shown that immobilized biocatalysts are stable and can be use d to run complex biotechnological processes.
