Abstract
Packet loss is a critical problem for video transmission on packet-swi tched networks. In this paper, an error compensation method called mod ified boundary matching algorithm is developed for recovering lost vid eo due to packet loss at video decoder. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method preserves good image quality even when the c ell loss rate is very high.
