The antimony(III) chloro-fluoro complex K2SbF2Cl3 was synthesized, and its
crystal structure was determined. The crystals are orthorhombic: a = 7.634(
2), b = 8.196(1), c = 12.812(2) Angstrom, V = 801.6(3) Angstrom(3), Z = 4,
rho(caled) = 2.853 g/cm(3), rho(exp) = 2.84 g/cm(3), space group P2(1)2(1)2
(1). The Structure of the compound is built of K+ cations and [SbF2Cl3](2n-
) chains formed from SbF2Cl4E polyhedrons joined together by the asymmetric
bridging Sb-Cl-Sb bonds (Sb-CI 2.891 and 3.287 Angstrom).
