Abstract
Peculiarities of inherited variability among different domestic dog populat ions and breed groups were investigated based on the results of studying bi ochemical polymorphism of 14 marker loci. The differences in levels of hete rozygosity and polymorphism related to natural and artificial selection, di stances from centers of domestification and other factors of microevolution have been revealed.
