Abstract
A new species of Colchicum (C. arenasii) having tessellated tepals is descr ibed. It is compared to other Corsican and Sardinian species of hysterantho us Colchicum. The five species occurring in Corsica are keyed out. Some ind ications about distribution and ecology are given.
