Abstract
The need to perform computer-aided fringe-analysis schemes in photoela sticity for automated stress analysis has necessitated further develop ments in specimen illumination. Commonly available cathode-ray-tube co lor displays are investigated for such a purpose. (C) 1997 Optical Soc iety of America.
