Abstract
Alveolar echinococcosis is a rare parasitic disease caused by Echinococcus multilocularis and most commonly involves the liver. Early diagnosis and pr ecise evaluation of the localisation and the extent of the lesions are esse ntial for treatment. In this report, we present US and CT findings in a pat ient with hepatic alveolar echinococcosis.
