Abstract
Today's life science samples are frequently in the nanoliter and nanogram r ange and instrumentation must be adapted to handle samples of such small si zes. This article describes a capillary HPLC that operates at very low flow rates with low dead volume. The performance of the unit is illustrated usi ng data on peptide mapping at the subpicomole level.
