T. Jiang et al., The analysis of heavy oil by on-line coupled packed capillary liquid chromatography and high-temperature capillary gas chromatography, CHEM J CH U, 20(8), 1999, pp. 1221-1223
The heavy oils from petrochemical industry were analyzed by an on-line coup
led packed capillary high performance liquid chromatography (mu-HPLC) and h
igh temperature capillary gas chromatograph (HTGC), An aminosilane silica p
acked mu-HPLC column separates the sample into aliphatics, one-to five-ring
polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and resin ect,, The volume of each fracti
on is about 30 similar to 60 mu L, which is stored in turn in a multi-loop
interface: from a single LC injection, and then transfered into GC for quan
titative analysis. The content and the carbon number distribution of each c
hemical class are obtained. The RSD is less than 5%, Examples were given to
demonstrate the applicability of the method.
