The regularities of the dynamics of contact interactions between particles
an considered in solid-liquid (pastes, suspensions), solid-gas (powders), a
nd liquid-liquid (emulsions) two-phase disperse systems, as well as in soli
d-liquid-gas three-phase systems. The effects of the shape of the particles
, their moduli of elasticity (possibility of deformation), the lyophobic-ly
ophilic mosaic structure of their surface, and the slippage of the dispersi
on medium in the processes of forming or disrupting of contacts under dynam
ic conditions are accounted for. The crucial role of hydrodynamic and inert
ial effects in these processes is shown, and the contribution of these fact
ors to the dynamics of contact interactions between particles is evaluated.
