This note presents a method for two-phase flow regime identification The di
agnostic, based on signal characterization with three parameters (frequency
, space and shape), has been qualified with horizontal air-water flow. Afte
r a review of the main results obtained with different methods based on sig
nal analysis, like time-frequency analysis, we show that a space-frequency
representation is well suited to discriminate and classify the flow regimes
