Abstract
This paper shows a possible path for the introduction of Mobile Service age nts within an advanced Broadband Intelligent Network environment. The poten tial benefits of Distributed Object Technology and Mobile Agents Technology are described and the overall architecture is defined. Then some multimedi a services and personal mobility service features are introduced in order t o show the wide spectrum of Telecommunication services that can exploit thi s architecture.
