Abstract
A fast technique that combines the method of asymptotic waveform evaluation (AWE) and the hybrid finite-element boundary-integral (FE-BI) method is in troduced for the analysis of cavity-backed microstrip patch antennas residi ng on a dispersive substrate. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate t he accuracy and efficiency of the technique.
