Abstract
Improvement of the signal quality from 10GHz directly-modulated sources and crosstalk suppression in an 80Gbit/s OTDM system are demonstrated for the first fime by means of nonlinear switching in a dispersion-imbalanced fibre loop mirror (DILM).
