Abstract
A novel and efficient one-pot preparation of 1-tosylindoline and indole der ivatives from N-tosylaniline derivatives (1) and activated olefin derivativ es (2) using a hypervalent iodine(III) reagent, phenyliodine(III) bis(trifl uoroacetate) (PIFA), is described.
