Abstract
From the aerial Parts of Delphinium cyphoplectrum Boiss.,a new norditerpene alkaloid named cyphoplectine has been isolated along with the known nordit erpene alkaloids browniine and delphatine. The structure of cyphoplectine w as established on the basis of H-1, C-13, APT, homonuclear H-1 COSY, HETCOR and NOESY NMR studies. The alkaloidal mixture showed slight antifeedant an d insect repellent activities.
