Abstract
An experimental investigation is performed of the true void fraction a in v ertical tubes under conditions of bubbling. The experimental results are co mpared with the data of other researchers. The calculated correlations for determining alpha are refined. The main forces and processes are treated th at define the behavior of a two-phase mixture under the given conditions.
