Potentiometric studies have been performed for the iminodiacetic (IDA), met
hyliminodiacetic (MIDA)I ethyliminodiacetic (EIDA). propyliminodiacetic (PI
DA), H2L, and nitrilotriacetic (NTA, H3L)-iron(III) systems at 25 degrees C
and I= 0.5 mol dm (-3) in KNO3,. The model and the stability constants of
the complexes formed have been determined. Deprotonation and dimerisation c
onstants have been calculated and the species distribution diagrams are exp
lained, together with the cyclic voltammetric studies performed for IDA- an
