Abstract
A survey has been conducted of the allele frequency of genetic variants of various caseins, mainly alpha(s1)-casein, in herds of Norwegian goats locat ed in north, west and southeast Norway. In addition, identifying the varian ts, milk composition, micellar size and renneting properties of the milks h ave been determined. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
