Abstract
A formal analysis of the current in molecular systems is developed and appl ied to donor-bridge-acceptor systems. The main interest is in situations wh ere the initial state is nonstationary and a simple method of finding the c urrent at any site is introduced. Illustrative examples are analyzed.
