Abstract
This paper considers the problem of controlling linear systems subject to a ctuator rate and position saturations, An approach based on a parameter-dep endent Riccati equation is proposed, which guarantees global asymptotic sta bilization under standard technical conditions, The method is used to contr ol a numerical model of the F/A 18 fighter aircraft.
