Abstract
Peterson olefination of the alkyl and aryl aldehydes with C,O-bis(triethyls ilyl)fluoroketene acetal 1 promoted by titanium tetrachloride and dimethyla luminum chloride was investigated. Desired fluoroolefins were formed with h igh stereoselectivity and moderate to high yields.
