Abstract
We present an unusual case in which, following indeterminate findings on tr ansabdominal sonographic assessment, transvaginal sonography clearly depict ed an aborting pedunculated intracavitary leiomyoma within the uterine cerv ix. The lesion measured 4 x 4 cm and exhibited central cystic degenerative changes. (C) 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
