Abstract
A technique for the a priori analysis and optimization of the guidance of a n interplanetary space vehicle is developed; this methodology takes into ac count disturbances whose statistical characteristics are not exactly known. Analytical and numerical upper estimates of quality indices of guidance th at do not use the operations of inversion and decomposition of matrices are obtained. The technique was successfully employed for the analysis and opt imization of the guidance of the Russian solar probe within the framework o f the international project "Fire."
